Purchased this product to see if i could repair a garage roof that had become damp and damaged by a neighbours ivy. After removing the ivy completely, the previous roof sealer i had used was all blistered and so damp it was peeling off in strips. The internal wooden beams of the roof were wet and dripped everytime it rained.. buckets everywhere! The roof itself is old asbestos cement sheeting and to replace would cost almost 2k. There are three rows of sheeting and each row has nine sheets. I did the middle row first and after a few days noticed that the beams were drying out nicely. After some rain i did notice that the the main problem area was slightly damp. ( no drips though ) I then did the top row and today we have had torrential rain and i have not had one drip so far and the beams look as dry as they ever have been for years. Just have to do the bottom row now. I am very impressed with this product. Just have to wait and see how long it lasts before needing another coat. And of course, it was great service from New Venture Products...
